Realistic Future Sci-Fi

Here we are talking about a Joaquin Phoenix starrer ‘Her’. A movie which is ahead of its time. Director Spike Jonze who also wrote the script imagined future so perfectly that a viewer must get engaged with this movie. Theodore portrayed by Phoenix is a professional writer, works for a company that composes letters for others who cannot write them.

Theodore was emotionally broke because of this divorce with his childhood sweetheart. He buys Samantha, a Virtual Assistance which also has an Artificial Intelligence System. It was designed in such a way that it can adapt and evolve. Theodore was amazed the way this machine was evolving. They had long discussions about love and life. They also discussed about Theodore avoiding signing his divorce papers.

‘Her’ movie is something in-coming future sci-fi. The interactions between Theodore and Samantha kept this movie interesting and it also focused on the deep emotional troubles. Here Jonze also used his creativity for some comedy. Theodore finds out that his pal Amy is also getting into relationship with an OS which her ex-husband left. Jonze pointed out with some humor that this technology can affect our society in a different way.

As the story goes on, the relationship deepens. Theodore and Samantha go on a vacation where she reveals that she and other AI machines are developing new OS. Theodore was a little amused and asked Samantha whether she was also talking with someone else while they both were having discussions. Theodore was upset as she reveals that she had fallen in love with thousands of people.

As all AIs were leaving to go beyond this physical world. Both Amy and Theodore were upset. They both go on the roof of their building and watch the sunrise.

This scene is the scenario of the new beginning.
